James Hulett (Jip) Forte, 98, of New London, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at his home. A funeral service for Mr. Forte will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel o Read Obituary
So very sorry to know Jip has passed but you girls were so blessed to have him for such a long and happy time. ❤️

Our families grew up together. We lost touch as times changed and people moved elsewhere. I took my mom (Hazel Huneycutt) to visit your mom and dad and they talked for hours. Your dad gave me a picture of North Albemarle Babtist Church when it was just a small white building. He talked about it and the people. Will never forget them. Keep the memories alive. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
I knew jip all my life. He was a great guy. God favored him by letting him live a long life. Sorry for your loss.
My heart goes out to all the family. You will be in my prayers and thoughts as you face the future without this special, special man. I'm so glad I got to attend church with Grandpa and live on him and him love on me. I will miss you dear Grandpa but I will see you again one day. Beth, Cinda, Kim and Michael I send my love to you. Mr. Forte was really Great and Caring Person..He Loved his Family So Much. Prayers to the Family.
