Mr. James ?J.D.? Eudy, age 63 of? Albemarle, N.C. passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at his home.? His funeral will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at?Faith Free Will Baptist Church in New London, N.C. with the Rev. Phillip Martin and?Rev. Wayne Eudy officiating.? Burial will be in the church cemetery.? The family will receive friends at the Stanly Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Mr. Eudy was born October 1, 1952 in Stanly County, N.C. to the late James Duncan Eudy and Beulah Mae Whitley Eudy and was a retired Diesel Mechanic with C.L. Vickers Transfer Company.? Mr. Eudy was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church?where he was active as long as his health permitted and he was also an inactive Deacon?and a musician in the church, playing the bass guitar.
He was married to Sandy Greer Eudy of the home for 43 years.? Other survivors include?one son,? Wayne D. Eudy and wife Sally of Albemarle, N.C. one daughter, Misty Meggs and husband Tommy of Oakboro, N.C. two brothers, Ray Eudy and Dale Eudy both?of Albemarle, N.C. two sisters, Beatrice E. Hudson and Denise E,. Hatley both of Albemarle, N.C. one grandchild, Cooper Eudy of Albemarle, N.C.
