James Richard Byrum's Obituary
Mr. James Richard Byrum, age 63, of Wingate, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at CMC-Union in Monroe, NC.
Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Byrum will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Davis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Byrum was born on October 22, 1951, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of the late Olin James Byrum and Jane Tucker Byrum.
He had worked with Barth and Dreyfuss, and WARP Development Corporation.
He was also a US Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Betsy W. Byrum of Wingate; two sons, Kevin Lee Byrum and wife Laura King Byrum of Monroe and James Michael Byrum and wife Michelle Keziah Byrum of Indian Trail; a sister, Edith Starnes of Indian Trail; two grandsons, Michael Seth Byrum and Brock Coningsby Byrum.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday Night, March 27, 2015, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street.
