Jack Alton Carter, 86, of 37598 Mountain Creek Road, New London, died peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Flat Rock, N.C. He was born in Stanly County on May 25, 1934 to the Read Obituary
I am so sorry about Jack's passing. He gave me my first job (Federal Pacfic) in 1965. He was such a nice person. Prayers to his family.

I will always remember my Uncle Jack as an athlete, a go getter, and a man who spent time with and loved his family.. including his extended family. He loved life and we loved him. Jack was my Hero! He gave me my first job @FPE after I moved here from Va. He was my advisor, leader lectured me when I was naughty, but he got to see me grow up and be the lady I was supposed to be. Prayers for his family, he was a wonderful, caring person wh I admired and respected. I remember Mr. Carter on the sidelines at the games Doug and I played in. The main thing I remember is when he smiled, everyone else did too. 🙂
