Infant Silas Alan Lentz passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 in Duke University Medical Center, Durham. ?Known to his parents as their ?Sweet Boy,? he fought so hard for the last week. ?His funeral service will be 1 PM Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
Silas was born on August 11, 2017 in Stanly County.? He is survived by his parents Michael Alan Lentz and Hannah Catherine Oakley of Albemarle, sister Maysie Makenna Lentz, maternal grandparents Butch Oakley of Albemarle and Gina Oakley of Sylva, and paternal grandparents Becky Sanders of Albemarle and Barry Davis of Albemarle, and grandfather Jimmy Sanders of Albemarle and grandmother Dori Oakley of Mt. Pleasant.
