Huitt Leonard Corriher, 75 of Albemarle, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his home. Mr. Corriher was born December 2, 1940 in Rowan County to the late Homer Edward Corriher and Ida Marie Corriher.
A funeral service for Mr. Corriher will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at East Albemarle Church of God in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Harry Harward. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. ?Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00PM prior to the service at the church.
Leonard was a member at East Albemarle Church of God where he was also a greeter. ?He loved to stay busy and was always making new friends.
Mr. Corriher is survived by wife Geraldine Johnson Corriher of the home.? He is also survived by 2 sons, 1 daughter, 2 step-daughters, 1 brother, 1 sister, 11 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.? 5 brothers preceded him in death.
