Hoyle Clinton Griffin, Jr., 72, of Albemarle passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 in Stanly Regional Medical Center.? His service will be 12 Noon on Monday, February 1, 2016 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Broome officiating.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home from 10:30 until 11:45 prior to the service.
Born February 16, 1943 in Stanly County, he was the son of the late Hoyle Clinton Griffin, Sr. and Mary Belle Metcalf Griffin and was a barber in Albemarle for over 53 years.? He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife Susie Russell Griffin of the home.? Other survivors include son Michael C. Griffin and wife Wendy of Albemarle, daughters Beverly S. Griffin of Albemarle, Kelly G. Broome and husband Scott of Albemarle, Jennifer G. Huneycutt and husband Todd of Badin, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
