Holly Wayne Smith's Obituary
Holly Wayne Smith, 77, of Troy passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at his home. No formal services will be scheduled.
Mr. Smith was born on April 27, 1947, in San Diego, CA to the late Holly Isaac and Sylvia Smith. He is also preceded in death by his stepmother Nancy Smith.
Those left to cherish the memories of Mr. Smith are his wife; Roxanna Smith of the home, sons; David Smith (Lena) of Lexington, Matthew Whicker of Troy, and Joshua Whicker of Troy daughters; Shannon Tolson (Allen) of Lexington, and Jessica Moss (Jenna) of O’ahu, HI. Other survivors are his brother Joseph Smith (Lois) of Allentown, PA, sister Bonnie MacMordie of Winston-Salem, nine grandkids, and fifteen great-grandkids.
Mr. Smith was an industrial electrician by trade and a proud Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and all things outdoors.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Smith family.
