I remember Johnnie, Hollie, Mark, and Mandy from years ago when I was living on Finger road growing up. Hollie and Johnnie always were full of some of the funniest stories and always young at heart. After they moved from there to Badin, I lost track of all of them. Until I married into Jonah and Collans Vanhoy's family did I know that Hollie and Jonah were brothers. I'm glad I got to see everyone today at the funeral but I really wish it was better circumstances. Rest assured Mark, Mandy, Temple and family, your mom and dad are together again just smiling and catching up about yall. Temple, I'm glad I finally met you. Everyone take care and now it's up to yall too fish all those ole fishing holes. Please let me know if yall need anything.

Hollie was a "good and faithful servant" of The Lord Jesus Christ.
He was faithful to Christ's Church. Scarcely a Sunday would go by that you wouldn't see Hollie worshipping there.
He was faithful in singing in the choir, and faithful in calling the Seniors and Shut-ins to check on them during the week.
He did so without official Titles, or any pride of heart because he was a true and humble servant of the Lord.
He will be missed by many, but "joy cometh in the morning" when we shall see him again, along with God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
"His Lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’"

My name is Becky Stoker Mintzer. Me & Holly worked together at C&A in Albemarle back in the early 60's. I did go to Central School (1947-1953) . but the same year my family moved to Richfield & I graduated from Richfield High School in 1960! I'm almost the same age as Holly, Even though we didn't graduated from the same school, because of some of my classmates from Central School did graduated with Holly, We found out we knew each other by my classmates invited to the Reunion ot Class of 1959 & they started including me in Classmates Luncheons! Anyway I am so sorry you all lost your loved one. I live in Stanley not far from Belmont where two of his daughters live! Like my husband Jim Mintzer, Holly isn't suffering anymore & He is at peace!
