Hilma Anna Walewski's Obituary
Mrs. Hilma Anna Walewski, age 89, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at White Oak Manor of Waxhaw.
Services to Celebrate the Life of Mrs. Hilma Walewski will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street.
Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Walewski was born on March 6, 1924, in Cole Camp, Missouri, a daughter of the late Arthur Lohman and Paula Viets Lohman. She was married to the late Edward A. Walewski, and was preceded in death by a son, Paul W. Walewski.
She was a homemaker and also served as a Navy Nurse Apprentice at San Diego Naval Hospital during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Roberta A. Herrholz of Waxhaw; a son, Mark E. Walewski of Curtisville, PA., four grandsons, Michael A. Walewski of Butler, PA., Joshua Herrholz of Indian Trail, Todd Herrholz of Monroe and Aaron Herrholz of Charlotte; two granddaughters, Dana M. Herrholz of Waxhaw and Sarah Watson of Matthews.
There are seven great grandchildren, Alyssa Herrholz, Austin Herrholz, Lauren Herrholz, Piper Watson, Lily Watson, Olivia Walewski, and Ian Walewski.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday evening, September 27, 2013, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe.
