Heriberto Ferrer's Obituary
Mr. Heriberto Ferrer, age 81, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at White Oak Nursing Center in Waxhaw. North Carolina.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate his Life will be conducted at 11:30 AM Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel.
Internment will follow at 1:00 PM Saturday at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Ferrer was born on August 21, 1933, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Alfonso and Margot Santiago Ferrer. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Jose Vargas and Johnny Ferrer.
He was a retired commercial truck driver for Camden Bag Co., of Camden, NJ.
He was also a US Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Sara R. Ferrer of Monroe; three sons, Patrick Ferrer (Nancy) of Glassboro, NJ, and Edwin Ferrer(Connie) of Arlington, VA and Heriberto Ferrer of Brooklyn, NY; three daughters, Ivette Rosario(Angel) of Monroe, Denise Pritchett(Joseph) of Monroe and Margaret Ferrer of Brooklyn, NY.
There are 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
