Helmuth Giehl's Obituary
Mr. Helmuth "Ham" Giehl, age 86, of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marshville.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at a later date.
Mr. Giehl was born on January 23, 1927, in Roebling, New Jersey, a son of the late Andreas Giehl and Lina Lindemeir Giehl. He was a retired automotive mechanic.
Mr. Giehl was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Carty Giehl.
He is survived by his son, Fred Heydorn and wife, Debbie, of Maine; two daughters, Sue Oros and husband, Barry, of Roebling, New Jersey and Fran Collura and husband, Jim, of Monroe. There are numerous other family members, including brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
