Helen Ingram Laton's Obituary
Helen Ingram Laton, 77, of Albemarle passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 in Accordius Health of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle followed by a funeral service at 11 AM in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Josh Laton officiating.
Born January 20, 1943 in Stanly County, NC, to Clay Ingram of Albemarle and the late Molly Hunneycutt Ingram. She was of the Baptist Faith. She worked for many years as a sewing machine operator and later worked at Walmart. She loved spending time with family and she also enjoyed the beach and word search and bingo.
In addition to her mother she was preceded step-mother Daisy Ingram and a sister Frances Bell. Other survivors include four daughters Donna Osborne and Lester of Denton, Kaye Tester and husband Mark of New London, Gaye Laton and Mae Laton of Albemarle and son Ray Laton and wife Judy of South Carolina, sister Brenda Boone of Salisbury, eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
