Helen Whitley Burleson's Obituary
Helen Whitley Burleson, 82, of Albemarle, NC, passed away Thursday August 6, 2020 at Autumn Care of Marshville. Her graveside service will be 10am Saturday at Canton Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Howard officiating.
Mrs. Burleson was born August 30, 1937 in Stanly County, NC, and was the daughter of the late Lester Whitley and Lizzie Hathcock Whitley. She was a member of Canton Baptist Church.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Joel Burleson. She is survived by two sons, Randy Joel Burleson (Peggy) of Albemarle, NC and Steven Todd Burleson of Albemarle, NC; two daughters, Kathy Connell (Eddie) of Albemarle, NC and Kimberly Pope of Charlotte, NC: ten grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and a brother-in-law Giles Almond (Anita) of Union County.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Burleson family.
