Harry Lee Miller's Obituary
Harry Lee Miller, 88, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at his home. His funeral service will be 1:30pm Monday, September 13, 2021 at First Lutheran Church with Pastor James Laurence officiating. Burial will follow at 4pm in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 1:15 at the church.
Mr. Miller was born November 23, 1932 in Davie County, NC, to the late Stephen Woodson Miller and Stella Grace Misenheimer Miller. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and he retired as Vice President with the Concord Telephone Company.
Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Madie Liverman Miller on May 24, 2021. He is survived by two sons, Harry David Miller (Samantha) and Tim Miller (Lisa); two granddaughters, Rachel Miller Hawthorne (Will) and Sara Miller Holland (Mickey); a great grandchild, Bryce Holland. Mr. Miller was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wilson Miller, Wayne Miller and Hugh Miller and a sister, Martha Miller.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Harry Miller to First Lutheran Church, 230 South Second Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
