Harold Helms' Obituary
Harold Helms, 79, of Monroe passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 in his home. His funeral service will be held graveside at Lakeland Memorial Park on Saturday, January 7, 2023 with Pastor Chris Baucom officiating.
Born February 9, 1943 in Union County, NC he was the son of the late C. C. Helms and Annie Eloise Jones Helms. Mr. Helms was a Veteran of the US Army and worked for many years as a dump truck driver.
Mr. Helms was preceded in death by his wife Peggy. Survivors include step-daughter Joyce Carden, cousins Verna Wilson and Sue Poplin, and cousin's wife Delores Chaves.
