Gregory Lynn Starke's Obituary
Gregory Lynn Starke, 63, of Albemarle, NC, passed away Friday October 23, 2020 in Lanark Village, FL. His memorial service will be 2pm Friday October 30, 2020 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel with Rev. Dale Chandler. No formal visitation will be held. Military rites will be conducted after the service by the United States Navy.
Mr. Starke was born February 27, 1957 in Albuquerque, NM, the son of the late Robert August Starke and Gloria Irene Meyer Starke. He retired from the United States Navy with twenty years of service and as well retired as an LPN. He loved fishing and traveling.
Gregory is survived by his wife Lorie Jan Starke of the home. He is also survived by two sons Jordan Davis of Albemarle, NC and Shaun Starke of Slippery Rock, PA; two daughters Lynnsey Chandler (Dale) of Albemarle, NC and Hannah Calvert (Rick) of Las Cruces, NM; three brothers Barry Starke (Michael), Terry Starke both of San Diego, CA and Robert Starke (Sue) of Atoona, PA; a sister Gloria Graham of MI and five grandchildren, Della Chandler, Jensen Chandler, Grace Cavert, Lucas Calvert and Pepper Starke and a special friend Brandon Blalock of Albemarle, NC.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Starke family.
