So sorry to hear this sad news. I hope you find peace remembering all the happy times.
Greg and I were together East Albemarle School, Albemarle Junior High, and Albemarle Senior High School together. I'd see him at Lowder's Supermarket and at the Walmart Garden center. In the sixth grade, we missed science class and scraped and washed dishes in the cafeteria. Greg also had the key to his Dad's portable skating rink across the street from C.L.Vickers (or East Side Fire Department) on the Badin Road. Greg would issue us sixth graders skates, and we'd play our own version of hockey. There were never any adults involved. We opened it, cleaned up, and closed it. Bottom line: Greg was a good man, and he will be missed.
Great guy to have known. He always got my wife and myself travel tickets for our vacations to seeing him here at the car lot in Albemarle. He will be missed
