Gregory Fraser Hill's Obituary
Gregory Fraser Hill, 66, of Davidson passed away on September 18, 2024, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Jake Lail. Burial will take place at Palmerville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM prior to the hour of service at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle.
He was born February 23, 1958, in Stanly County to the late Robert and Florence Hill. He is lovingly survived by his daughters, Madison Hill of Albemarle and Ericka Sisk and her husband Sheldon of Bostic, and stepson Thomas Burgess and his wife Rebecca of Albemarle. Those also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren, Kelsey, Tenley, Holden, Gavin, Colsen, nephew, Robert Glenn Hill, Jr. and his wife Melinda of Davidson and great nephews and nieces, Sara Roux (Robert), Cade Hill, and Lily Hill.
Greg was predeceased by a brother Robert Glenn Hill Sr.
Greg was a graduate of North Stanly High School. After graduation, he entered the Air Force from 1976-1980. During his most recent time of employment, he worked for Hendrick Motorsports, where he spent over twenty years working in the engine shop. He had a love for fast cars and made many friendships while building engines. In his free time, he loved LOUD classic rock and spending time with his cats, Bebe and Bobo. His nephew and nieces will miss seeing him every day on his porch waving his hand in love and greeting. What Greg enjoyed most was spending time with his two daughters, grandchildren and all his friends and family.
