Grace Ida Phillips' Obituary
Mrs. Grace Ida Ferguson Phillips, age 84, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016, at her residence.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 E. Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, 28112 officiated by Reverend Frank Crump. Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Phillips was born on September 19, 1931, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Vernon Ferguson and Faye Jones Ferguson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joseph Phillips in 2014.
Survivors include her three sons Darrell Phillips of Monroe, NC, David Phillips (Mitzi) Matthews, NC, and Don Phillips (Kay) Elon, NC; and her daughter Debbie Griffin (Pete) of Monroe, NC.
There are 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:15 PM Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Davis Funeral Home, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112 prior to the funeral service.
