Grace Asbury's Obituary
Mrs. Grace Asbury, age 78, of Mineral Springs, NC, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019.
A Celebration of Life for Grace will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Davis Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, 28112, officiated by Rev. Eric Lane.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, prior to the service.
Grace was born April 6, 1940 in Union County, NC, a daughter of the late Roy Gardener and Kate Hill Gardner. Grace worked for the Exxon Corporation for many years as a Retail and District Manager.
Grace is survived by her four sons; Steve Brooks and wife Janet of Orlando, FL, Nolan Brooks and wife Meredith of Concord, NC, Mark Brooks and wife Kristi of Charlotte, NC, and David Brooks and wife Penny of Monroe, NC. Survivors also include five sisters, six grandchildren; Leslie Brooks, Hunter Brooks, Heather Brooks, Jesse Brooks, Tyler Brooks, and Katey Brooks, as well as four great grandchildren; Jackson Brooks, Vincent Brooks, Dominic Brooks, and Aiden Carr.
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by two brothers, and one sister.
