To The Grieving Family of Ms. Gloria Ross............A message of Solace at The Time of Your Lost of a Loved One…………JESUS’ ROLE IN COMFORTING ALL WHO MOURNGod intended that Jesus have a key role in providing comfort. Among other tasks that God assigned him, Jesus was “to bind up the brokenhearted†and “comfort all who mourn.†(Isaiah 61:1, 2) As foretold, Jesus took a special interest in people who were “toiling and loaded down.†â€"Matthew 11:28-30.Today, the Son of God is not present on earth to comfort us personally. But his Father, Jehovah, “the God of all comfort,†continues to help those in need. (2 Corinthians 1:3) Consider four principal means that God uses to comfort people.• The Bible. “All the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction, so that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope.†â€"Romans 15:4.• God’s Holy Spirit. Not long after Jesus’ death, the whole Christian congregation entered into a period of peace. Why? “It walked in the fear of Jehovah and in the comfort of the holy spirit.†(Acts 9:31) The holy spirit, God’s active force, is very powerful. God can use it to comfort anyone in any circumstance.• Prayer. “Do not be anxious over anything,†the Bible advises us. Rather, it says, “let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers.†â€"Philippians 4:6, 7.• Fellow Christians can provide a comforting ‘safety net’ of true friends. The apostle Paul described his companions as “a source of great comfort†in times of “distress and tribulation.†â€"Colossians 4:11; 1 Thessalonians 3:7.It is my sincere hope that these words/this knowledge helps to sustain you, your family during your Bereavement…
My deepest condolences to Ms. Gloria's family. I pray that Jimmy, Brian and Timothy will continue to Love one another as their parents Loved them. I would also like to say that I will never forget her or Mr.Ross, they were our neighbors on Cherry St back in the '90s. Keep your heads up guys, God will see you through, with Love Nikki and the Robinson Family.
To the family: I would like to take this opportunity to give to you my sincere condolence. We a love one passes away it brings so much sadness to the family. There is joy in this as well. The bible states at John 5: 28,29 the eventual outcome. Those that die now will be resurrected back to life on earth. Jesus is the prime example because he stated these word in the Bible. Psalms 115:16 states this: As for the heavens, they belong to God, but the earth he has given to the sons of men. There is so much in the Bible that gives us all hope for our love ones. May God embrace you the family in his loving care at this time of your grief.
