Glenn Evans Hatley's Obituary
Glenn Evans Hatley, 79, of Stanfield passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in Atrium Health Cabarrus. His funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2024 at Red Cross Baptist Church with Pastor Garry Baker and Pastor Joey Rowell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust on Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
Born July 3, 1945 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late Marvin Hatley and Elsie Lambert Hatley. He was a member of Red Cross Baptist Church and was retired from ASC Construction. He loved nothing more than spending time with his grandsons working on and pulling lawn and garden tractors. He also loved spending family time at the lake. Mr. Hatley enjoyed deer hunting when his health permitted.
Mr. Hatley is survived by his wife of 60 years, Naomi Osborne Hatley. Other survivors include Pamela Hatley Eudy and husband Dennis of Monroe, two grandsons Adam Christopher Eudy and wife Dominique Van Wieringen of York, SC and Hunter Garrison Eudy of Monroe and a special nephew Dennis White and wife Meranda.
