Ginger Wooten's Obituary
Mrs. Ginger Holmes Wooten, age 53, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017, at McWhorter Hospice House.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Love Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Don Thompson.
Ginger was born on January 24, 1964, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Jane Price Holmes and the late Phillip Rice Holmes. She was employed with Carolinas HealthCare System as a Registrar / Live Answer Coordinator and was formerly employed with Charlotte Plastics for seventeen years.
Survivors include her husband, Phil Wooten of the home; one son, Josh Deese and wife, Tina Hawkins Deese, of Monroe; four grandchildren, Landen Deese, Camren Deese, Michael Innis, and Ava Kelly Deese, all of Monroe; her mother, Jane Price Holmes of Monroe; one sister, Amy Tyson and husband, Kitch Tyson, of Wingate; one brother, Phillip Holmes of Monroe; two aunts, Doris Price Austin of Greer, SC, Karen Price Dalrymple of Cameron, NC; three nephews, Noah Tyson of Wingate, Kyle Holmes of Monroe, Caleb Wooten of Ruby, SC; three nieces, Hailee Holmes of Monroe, Rachel Wooten of Chesterfield, SC, Jennifer Moore of Cheraw, SC; her cousins, Alice Austin of Greer, SC, Nikki Tomberlin and family of Greer, SC, Jarren Dalrymple and family of Cameron, NC, and Justin Dalrymple and family of Cameron, NC; sister-in-law, Patti Holmes, of Monroe; mother-in-law, Nancy Rachel Wooten of Ruby, SC; and brother-in-law, Mark Wooten and wife, Pat Wooten, of Ruby, SC.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 12, 2017, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, one hour prior to the service, at Love Baptist Church. The family will also receive friends following the service.
