Geraldine Tyson's Obituary
Mrs. Geraldine Medlin Tyson, age 71 , of Wingate, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral Services to Celebrate the Life of Geraldine M. Tyson will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Davis Funeral Chapel,1003 East Franklin Street, officiated by Reverend Jerry Faile and Reverend Bobby Tallent.
Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Tyson was born on July 14, 1942, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Grady Melvin Medlin and Kathleen Polk Medlin.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James Medlin and a sister, Margaret Page.
She was married to the late Joe Allen Tyson, who passed away on June 27, 2010.
She retired from the packaging department of Charlotte Pipe.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula Tyson Justice and husband, Brian Justice of Wingate; a granddaughter, Gracie Mullis of Wingate and a grandson,Tyson Justice of Wingate.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe.
