Gerald Michael Holt, 59, of Gold Hill passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem.? His funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday, June 30, 2016 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Adam Hatley officiating.? Burial will follow in the Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
Born July 20, 1956 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of Marie Hatley Holt of Albemarle and the late Gearld Holt.? He was employed by Schult Homes and was a member of the Baptist Faith.? Mr. Holt was a veteran of US Army.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Holt is survived by his wife Amy Holt of Gold Hill, brother Danny Holt and wife Rose of Albemarle, sisters Jackie Vanhoy and husband Bud of Rockwell and Donna Barringer and husband Jack of Gold Hill.
