George Thomas Walters' Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late George Thomas Walters, announces his passing on March 20, 2025, he was 93. "Tommy" was the oldest son of the late Harold and Alberta (Jenkins) Walters. He is survived by his brother Harold, and sons David (Diane), Michael (Sharon), and Ronald, several grandchildren, and a large circle of family and friends. Sarah, his first wife of 41 years, his second wife, Barbara, and his son William, predeceased him. Tommy had a long and distinguished military career serving in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard. After retiring, Tommy and Sarah opened a music store to share their love of music. Tommy was a long standing member of the Full Gospel Mission Church of Albemarle, NC. Our lives will never be the same in his absence.
