Olin was a very valuable person in helping and supporting the members of the Deep River Fire Department become EMTs during the late 1970's. Always there to help when he could. All of Guilford County benefited from his professionalism as a supervisor for EMS. Prayers to his family during this time.

Gosh- where do I begin- Mr Lord was one of my heros! Back when I was young and started driving - I had a wreck and he was the first on site - he told me everything was going to be okay - cars are replaceable - I was not... He hugged me and let me cry on his shoulder, He always had such good advice and was normally right- he never stirred us wrong .. Becky, David and Greg my thoughts and prayers are with you all for the coming day... thanks for the memories Mr Lord
