George Shuford Hines Jr., 89, of Stanfield, NC passed away on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024 at Transitional Health Services in Kannapolis, NC. The family will be having a private service.
George was born May 28th, 1934, in Lincolnton, NC. He was the son of George S. Hines Sr. and Alice Gamble Hines. George enjoyed raising miniature horses, Aussie dogs, and various livestock, He liked showing his miniature horses.
George was proceeded in death by his wife Dorothy Jean Intihar Hines and his son Butch Hines. Survivors include his son Robert Hines of Locust, NC, Daughter-in-law Debbie Hines of Midland, NC, Brother Johnny Hines of Cherryville, NC. George has four grandchildren Pamela Aldridge of Norwood, NC, Bobby Hines Jr. of Concord, NC, Bradley Hines of Locust, NC, and Devin Taylor, of Albemarle, NC. He also has nine Great-grandchildren.
