George Gilbert Graham, Sr., 64 of New London died on October 16, 2017 at his home. A private family service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017.
Mr. Graham was born June 1, 1953 in Hamlet, N.C. to the late Ruby Mae Radford and Wilson Woodrow Graham. He was a graduate of North Stanly High school where he played football. He was a retired truck driver and enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on Dale Earnhardt. George was a handy man who could fix just about anything he put his hands on.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Morton Graham of the home; sons George Gilbert Graham, Jr. and Fianc?e Cindy of Lilesville, N.C., Jonathan Lee Graham of New London, N.C.; daughter Sherie Graham Hathcock and husband Ronnie, Jr. of Ansonville, NC; grandchildren Trey, Shellie, Zachary, Ronald, Brandon, Ricky, Kristen, and Greg; step grandchildren Courtney and Joanna ; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Charles Graham of Richfield, N.C., and Charlie Graham of Aquadale, N.C.; several nieces and nephews. ?Mr. Graham is preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Mae Graham; brothers Melvin, Ricky, and Billy Graham; and a sister Marie Ann Graham.
