Gayzelle Simpson's Obituary
Gayzelle Smith Simpson, 76, of Mt. Pleasant passed away October 20, 2021 in Bethany Woods. Her funeral service will be Tuesday at 10 AM in Fairview Memorial Park with Pastor Ron Loflin officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Born June 5, 1945 in Stanly County, NC she was the daughter of the late Leland Smith and Benner Morris Smith. She was retired from textiles and formerly attended New Bethel Lutheran Church in Richfield.
She is survived by a friend Ann Coley of Albemarle, grandson Thomas Munford and granddaughter Ashley Karolczak and a great-granddaughter Katherine Mundford and great-grandson Frank Karolczak.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mitchell Simpson, daughter Ellen Munford and a son at childbirth.
