Gay Frick Chastain's Obituary
Gay Nell Frick Chastain, 85, of Albemarle, died Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her home. Ms. Chastain was born November 5, 1930 in Albemarle to the late Burl Martin Frick and Ella Bessie Culp. ?Her funeral service will be at 2:00P on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Congregational Christian Church with Rev. John Giddens officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the hour of the service. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory.
She is preceded in death by her son David Glenn Chastain. Ms. Chastain is survived by sons Stephen Paul Chastain (Cynthia) of Norwood, Chris Lynn Chastain of Albemarle, a daughter Rhondi Chastain Martin (Kenny) of Albemarle; 5 grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving sibling of 9 Children.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Congregational Christian Church at 1119 Carolina Avenue, Albemarle, N.C. 28001.
