Gary Wayne Gardner's Obituary
Gary Wayne Gardner, 70, of New London, NC, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Atrium Health Stanly. His service will be 3pm Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Petty Museum, 311 Branson Mill Road, Randleman, NC with Rev. Mike Duffield and Rev. Gary Myers officiating. The family will receive friends from 2pm until 3pm prior to the service at the museum.
Mr. Gardner was born April 20, 1953 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Thomas O. Gardner and Mary Frances McGee Gardner “Skinny”. He was employed with the Richard Petty Museum in Level Cross, NC. He was a member of the Victory on the Front Line Church in Lexington, NC. Gary was a Mopar Classic Car enthusiast. He liked going and visiting Southport and Oak Island, NC. Mr. Gardner enjoyed boating, hunting, and riding motorcycles. He was a man that loved to make people laugh. Gary could do and make anything.
Gary is survived by his wife, Kim Gardner of the home. He is also survived by many friends, Cecil & Jackie Duggins of Winston Salem, NC, Mike & Vannecia Garner of Welcome, NC.
