Born May 31, 1956, in Anson County, Garry was the son of the late Cecil Allen and Becky Allen, who survives him.
Garry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He shared 33 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Emily Allen. He also leaves behind his children, Zach Allen and Misty Pavia (Omar); his treasured granddaughter, Ellie Mae; his brother, Rodney Allen; and many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Garry had a deep love for the outdoors. An avid coon hunter and fisherman, he found great joy in nature, camping trips, and time spent outside. Above all, he treasured time with his family and friends. His greatest happiness came from being “Dad” and “Grandpa,” roles he carried with pride and unconditional love.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Liberty Hospice for their compassionate care, comfort, and support during Garry’s illness.
