Garrett Delane Honbarrier's Obituary
Garrett Delane Honbarrier, 80, of New London, NC, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Atrium Health Stanly. His graveside service will be 11am Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Stanly Gardens of Memory with Rev. Tony Hopkins officiating. There will be no visitation.
Mr. Honbarrier was born January 28, 1941 in Stanly County, NC to the late Marshall Willard Honbarrier and Ruby Marie Kearns Honbarrier. Garrett retired from S&D Construction and worked for Hudson Pools. He was a member of New Hope Mission Church and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He loved his grandchildren, gardening, camping and fishing.
Garrett is survived by his wife of forty three years, Judy Ann Stamper Hobarrier of the home. He is also survived by two sons, Tommy Honbarrier (Ro) and Troy Lee Honbarrier (Misty) all of New London, NC and three grandchildren, Brendan Honbarrier, Cameron Honbarrier and Avery Honbarrier.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Honbarrier family.
