Frank (Bud) Leniord Cook, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Bud Cook, age 57, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015, at his residence.
A Service to Celebrate the Life of Bud Cook will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Bright Spot Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Bobby Helms.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday Night, January 7, 2015, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street.
Mr. Cook was born on August 18, 1957, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of Margaret Sikes Cook of Monroe and the late Frank L. Cook, Sr.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Allen Cook.
Mr. Cook was employed with Manetta Mills with over 20 years of service, Square D with 4 years and Charlotte Pipe with 12 years of dedicated service.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Sandra Byrd-Cook of Monroe; three daughters, Amy Cook and Lester Blair of Monroe, Angie Cook and Chris Newton of Waxhaw and Lisa Byrd of Monroe; a son, Michael Byrd of Monroe; three brothers, Jack and Veronica Cook of Marshville, Ronnie Cook of Indian Trail and Larry Cook of Monroe; and one sister, Diana Ferretis of Monroe,
There are 10 grandchildren and one on the way.
