Frances Carol Thomas' Obituary
Mrs. Frances Baucom Thomas, age 65, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Presbyterian Hospital - Matthews.
Funeral Services to Celebrate the Life of Frances Baucom Thomas will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Shiloh Advent Christian Church, officiated by Reverend Chris Wallace and Reverend Dallas Pressley.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas was born on February 27, 1948, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Boyce Edward Baucom and Julia Little Baucom. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Ray Baucom and Mike Baucom; and a sister, Mae Parker.
She retired from Windsor Windows in the Prime Line Department.
Survivors include her husband, Jeffery Thomas of Monroe; three daughters, Teresa Cope and husband Tim Cope of Monroe, Ann Medlin of Albemarle and Crystal Mills of Concord; a brother, Leonard Baucom and wife, Barbara Baucom of Monroe; four sisters, Cora Lee Manus of Monroe, Peggy Russell and husband Robert Russell of Aquadale, Doris Knight and husband Barry Knight of Monroe and Vickie Darlene Helms of Monroe.
There are seven grandchildren, Jessica Cope, Jennifer Cope, Julia Smith, Michael Medlin, Kirsten Starnes, Jonathan Starnes and Brandon Starnes; and 2 great grandchildren, Victoria Starnes and Aviana Covington, and her beloved dog Bear.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday Night, August 2, 2013, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street.
