Frances Richardson's Obituary
Mrs. Frances Helms Richardson, age 84, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Curtis Laney and Reverend Richard Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, prior to the funeral service in the church sanctuary.
Mrs. Richardson was born on February 8, 1932, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Lawrence Helms and the late Flora Frances Stegall Helms.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Arthur Richardson in 2006; her two sons David Arthur Richardson in 1972 and Herman Dwayne Richardson in 2016; and her brother Joe Neil Helms (the late Louise).
Survivors include her daughter Pam Richardson Rape (Mike) of Monroe, NC; her two sons Randy Richardson (Nancy Brookbank) and Jeff Richardson (Betty Sue) both of Waxhaw, NC; her daughter-in-law Sharon Phillips Richardson (the late Dwayne Richardson) of Waxhaw; her two sisters Winnie Helms (the late Neal Helms) and Phyllis Helms (the late Cody Helms) both of Monroe, NC; and her brother Roy Helms (Glenda) of Monroe, NC; there are ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
