Frances Elizabeth Hudson's Obituary
Frances Elizabeth Hudson passed away at Atrium Cabarrus on Saturday, May 27th, 2023. A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Sat, June 3rd, 2023, at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brandon King officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6-8PM, June 2nd, 2023, at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care, Albemarle, NC
Mrs. Hudson was born in Stanly County, NC on February 4th, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Glenn Starnes and Sula Starnes. Mrs. Hudson is preceded in death by her brother Joel Starnes and sister Nancy Starnes.
Mrs. Hudson is survived by her husband Rev. Jimmie Max Hudson Jr., her brother James “Jim” Starnes (Cathy) of Albemarle, sister Reba Bowers of Albemarle, sister Ellen Smith of Concord, and sister Doris Huneycutt of Albemarle. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Cameron Starnes, Eddie Bowers, Amanda Thompson (Todd), David Smith (Patty), Joel Smith, Becky Hill (Ross), Paul Fine, Anita Hudson (Keith), Susan Fine (Kelly), and Kimberly Boysworth (David). She is also survived by her mother-in-law Betty Hudson and sister-in-law Cathy Simpson.
Mrs. Hudson enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading a good book. She was also a devoted pastor’s wife. Most importantly Mrs. Hudson was devoted to her faith and loved her family. She was also the most generous giver, especially to those less fortunate.
