Florence Marie Kimrey Huneycutt, 87, of Midland, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Novant Health Matthews Medical Center.? Her funeral service will be 1 PM Monday, November 7, 2016 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ryan Hodgins officiating.? Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park on Tuesday.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care prior to the service from 11:30 until 12:30.
Born July 20, 1929 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jim Kimrey and Bertha Clementine Morton Kimrey.? She was a homemaker.? Mrs. Huneycutt was a member of the Concord Seventh Day Adventist Church and a member of the church choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Huneycutt.? Survivors include sons Jimmy Ray Huneycutt (Earlene) of Midland, ?David Winfield Huneycutt (Jimi Ann) of Midland, daughter Debbie Hess (Chuck) of Bloomingdale, GA, brother Bill Kimrey of Albemarle, grandchildren Juanita Dease (Ray), Christopher Hess (Juanita), Charles Hess, Caitlyn Rene? Huneycutt, and Hunter Huneycutt.
