Faye Averett McCord's Obituary
Mrs. Faye Averett McCord, age 89, of Marshville, NC, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Jesse Helms Center-Monroe. Mrs. McCord was born April 21, 1927 in Alabama, daughter of the late Thomas R. Averett and Hattie Moss Averett. She was a secretary for the US Federal Government.
Graveside services for Mrs. McCord will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday July 15, 2016 at Springbank Baptist Church Cemetery in Chatom, AL.
Faye is survived by her daughter Deborah Phillips (Jim) of Marshville, NC; her son Bradley Borden of Cody, WY; two grandsons David Lee Phillips of Monroe, NC and Ross Borden of Cody, WY; two granddaughters April Helms of Marshville, NC and Reba Borden of Cody, WY.
