Prophet Everitt Lee Green, Sr., 72, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Atrium Main, Charlotte, NC. The family will have a private funeral service and private burial.
Prophet Green was born September 1, 1948 in Montgomery County, NC to the late John L. Green and Mary Virginia Litaker Green. He retired from ALCOA with thirty one years of service, after retiring he was the owner and operator of Dr. Greens Home Improvements. Prophet Green was a member and held the position of a Ruling Elder of Love and Grace Christian Fellowship in Albemarle where he was a musician. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Prophet Green is survived by his loving wife, Rita Davis Green of the home. Other survivors include six sons, Everitt Lee Green, Jr. of Candor, NC, Brian Green of Montgomery County, Raymond Lee Ridenhour, Jr. (Jennifer) of Albemarle, NC, Damon Green of Montgomery County, NC, Travis Ridenhour of Albemarle, NC and Maurice Caraway of Charlotte, NC; four daughters, Almeshia A. Ridenhour of Cabarrus County, NC, Venita Green of Montgomery County, NC, Sundra Ridenhour of Stanly County, NC and Bianca Green of Montgomery County, NC; forty grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; nine brothers, Willie Green of Mecklenburg County, NC, Greg Little of Mooresville, NC, Claude Green of Montgomery County, NC, Scott Green (Dinah) of Montgomery County, NC, Donald Little of Ashville, NC, Franklin Green of Albemarle, NC, Bruno Green of Montgomery County, NC, Calvin Green of Montgomery County, NC and Dan Green of Montgomery County, NC; four sisters, Angela Phillips (Burnell) of Albemarle, NC, Mona Deans (Leon) of TN, Amy Brown (Derrick) of Albemarle, NC and Zilla Little of Albemarle, NC. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John Lewis Green and David Green and a sister, Rose Mary Green.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the family.
