Everett Lentz Huneycutt's Obituary
Everett Lentz Huneycutt, 80, of Norwood passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 surrounded by his family. His funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Friday, May 10, 2024, at Randall by the River with Rev. Hannah Barlow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born October 12, 1943, in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late Henry Huneycutt and Pearl Hinson Huneycutt. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Randall by the River (Formerly Randall United Methodist Church). Mr. Huneycutt was the owner, operator, and founder of Lentz's Auto Sales in Albemarle.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dian Mabe Huneycutt. Other survivors include son Brian Huneycutt of Norwood brother Mitchell Wayne Huneycutt of Norwood, and numerous nephews and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Donald Eugene (Donahue) Huneycutt.
