Euber Arnold Norton's Obituary
Euber Arnold Norton, 84, of Albemarle passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. A private service will be held at a later date. At his request, his cremains will be scattered over Warwoman Creek in Clayton, GA.
Born April 30, 1940, in Rabun County, GA, he was the son of the late Tate Vernor Norton and Dovie Gibson Norton Motley. He was a highly skilled self-employed Brick Mason and owner of E A Norton Masonry Contractor. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was also a very productive gardner and he fed many people in Stanly County with his famous Red Slaw.
Mr. Norton is survived by his son Ronnie Norton of Albemarle, daughter Sherri Norton Sherman (Reid) of Albemarle, sister Frances Thompson of Germanton, NC, and granddaughter Mariella Sherman of Albemarle. He was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Norton and sisters Shirley Le Grande and Edith Jackson.
