Esther Kipp Mayer's Obituary
Esther Margaret Kipp Mayer, 104, of Albemarle passed away on July 4, 2021 at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center. Her remains will be inurned in Tallahassee Memory Gardens in Tallahassee, FL.
Born March 17, 1917 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late William M. Kipp and Bertha Peters Kipp. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, MO and was a homemaker. She attended Central United Methodist Church in Albemarle while her health allowed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Fredrick Mayer. She is survived by a son Robert Kipp Mayer and daughter-in-law Pat Allen of Oakboro and a grandson Don Dodson of Rocky Mount, NC.
