Estelle Lee Sellers' Obituary
Estelle Lee Sellers, 80, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday
March 19, 2019 in Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her memorial
service will be 11 AM Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Prospect Baptist Church with
Rev. Donald Ray Johnson and Rev. Darrell Huneycutt officiating. The family will receive friends at the church
following the service. A private burial
will be held at a later date.
Estelle was born September 27, 1938 in Columbus County, NC
and was the daughter of the late Clyde Franklin Lee and Ollie Mae Dew Lee. Mrs.
Sellers was a graduate of Nakina High School in Columbus County, NC. She was a
homemaker and a member of Prospect Baptist Church. Estelle loved flower
gardening and dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren and her
great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
Sellers in 2000. She is survived by a son Joey Delane Jones and wife Amanda of
Albemarle; sister Clara Jeanette Mims of Columbia, SC; five grandchildren and
six great-grandchildren. Estelle was also preceded in death by a daughter,
Angela Estelle Cumbee in 2000 and five sisters, Gladys McDowell, Betty
Bordeaux, Evelyn Sellers, Ruth Smith and Gracie White and a brother, Vernon F.
Lee.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving
the Sellers Family.
