Erin Allen Moore's Obituary
Erin Allen Moore, 35, of Gastonia passed away Tuesday March 15, 2022 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 20 at 4 PM at Bethany United Methodist Church in Albemarle with Rev. David Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 till 4 in the church prior to the service.
Born May 28, 1986 in Daytona Beach, FL she is the daughter of Christi Allen Cline and step-father Dave Cline of New London. Erin was a graduate of North Stanly High School Class of 2005. After high school she attended Stanly Community College where she graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2009. Erin had a deep passion for teaching children and worked at Life4Kidz Daycare in Cramerton, NC.
Erin is also survived by her husband, Ian Moore and son, Luke J. Moore of Gastonia, brother, Reid Rutzler of New London, and numerous family members and close friends that she loved like family. In addition to her grandparents, Erin is preceded in death by her stepbrother, Wesley Rutzler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the account of Luke J. Moore (Fat Cat Savings) at State Employees Credit Union for his education.
