Erica Elizabeth Hill's Obituary
Erica Elizabeth Hill, Albemarle, 32, died December 14, 2023. She claimed her angel wings surrounded by family and friends as well as covered in prayer by her army. The funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel, Albemarle, with Beau Linker officiating. For all who will attend, one of Erica’s last requests, please wear purple and pink; flowers and balloons welcomed. Following the service, the family would like to invite everyone to a Celebration of life, Erica’s Heavenly birthday. Details for this to be announced later.
Erica was born January 10, 1991 and was the daughter of Elmer “Lee” Hill Jr. (Autumn Graham Hill, bonus Mom) and her late mother Patricia “Patty” Ann Hill Kennedy. She was born in Seaford, Delaware, however, Erica was a southern girl through and through after living for much of her life in Georgia and North Carolina. Erica gifted the world with 3 children. Survived by Sophia LeAnn Hill and Amelia Sarah Marie Hill, two incredible girls who were her entire world, and preceded in death, Bryson Timothy Lee Hill, who was in heaven awaiting her arrival.
Erica was a career woman in retail, a member of Albemarle First Assembly Church of God, and most of all, loved being a mommy. Erica led her girls to know and love Jesus Christ as well as forever grateful for her church family’s unwavering love and support. Plus, she ensured that her girls knew that the sky was the limit and led by example and brought her light, love, and laughter with her wherever she went and was truly a ray of sunshine for everyone that she encountered. This includes her enjoyment for social media and sharing with others her tips & tricks on makeup artistry. Erica was a force to be reckoned with in this world, and it would be wrong to say that she lost her battle with cancer because she never stopped fighting to be here with her girls. She won the ultimate victory in her walk with Jesus, and we find peace in knowing that she is at home with the Lord and with many loved ones surrounding her.
She loved her very close-knit and bonded family. Also survived by her sister: Ashley LeAnn Hill (Anthony); Nieces, Paishynce Melay, Kyra Lee Jeanne, Paris Malasia, Skylar Elizabeth; Uncles, David (Anne), Chris, Tommy, and Michael (Tina); Aunts, Josie (Gary) and Lisa (Darren); Cousins: Cyndi, Tabitha, Kristi, Taylor, Jonathan, Zach, Harmony, Destiny, Candi, Cheri, Lois Bonni, Graylin, Melissa, April, Brittany, Jessica, and Darren; along with her younger cousins (who lovingly referred to her, as “Aunt E”): Easton, Atlas, Kaly, and Damon, plus extended family locally and across the US. In addition to her family, Erica is survived by her friend Karen Youker who stayed by Erica’s side throughout her illness.
Memorials in her name may be sent to St. Jude, Stand Up to Cancer, or Hospice to find a cure for cancer or support other families in the future.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care is servicing the family. Online Condolences can be shared at www.Stanlyfuneralhome.com
