Mr. And Mrs. Rhodes:
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the entire family during this most difficult time. When I heard the news, I immediately reflected on how blessed I was to have Eric a part of my life and team. He took great pride with attention to detail In videoing our games. He set the standard for the rest of my coaching career. Being a young coach and educator, he bought In immediately and the conversations we had about how he could expand his role to maximize his abilities were amazing. He took great pride in dressing up on game days and placing on the team vest!

Terry, I’m heart broken and sorry for your loss. When I first started working for Mosaic as a student Eric was one of the “cool” senior student workers. I always enjoyed when he and you would stop by the computer help desk to talk shop…or complain :) Later on after Eric graduated and I began working for you - It was easy to see how proud you were of him as you’d share Eric’s adventures traveling with server equipment in his carry-on through airports, showing off his new Dodge Challenger, how eagerly you would track his flights and the relief on your face when you’d get phone calls from him letting you know he’d safely landed. I’m praying for comfort and peace for you and your wife as you walk this difficult time.

Dear Terry,
I am so sorry about this unbearable loss of your wonderful son Eric. I remember when Eric came to work with you when he was a teenager. It was so sweet of him trying to learn your job a UNCC. The obvious love and bond between the two of you is the envy of all fathers. I got to know Eric later after your retirement, he turned out to be the gentleman I always expected. I will miss my occasional chats with him in the elevator.
