Emily Meachum Sustar's Obituary
Mrs. Emily M. Sustar, age 73, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020, at McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe, North Carolina.
Mrs. Sustar was born on January 15, 1947, in Anson County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Jasper Carr Meachum and Annie Myrtle Craven Meachum. She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Todd Sustar.
She was a retired supervisor at the Family Dollar Distribution Center in Matthews, NC, with 17 years of dedicated service.
Survivors include two sons, Randy "Bo" Thomas of Monroe and Richard Dean Thomas of Charlotte; a brother, Larry Meachum of Rockingham.
There are four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
